Despite this year’s chaotic start, the RJ Reynolds Demon Shop is still up and running, with new RJ Reynolds gear to stock your closet.

Run by Colby Murphy and Shannon Wilson, the Demon Shop sells all kinds of spirit gear from t-shirts and sweatshirts, to baseball caps and cups. Designs are made based off of requests from students, findings off the internet, or reused based on what true designs sell the best based on past years. Murphy and Wilson work with local companies for different products to stock the shop. 

Generally the Demon Shop is open for home football games, other big games in different sports, choral and dance performances, and every Friday from 12 to 2 pm in the back of the cafeteria.        

Due to changes caused by the current pandemic, the Demon Shop is mainly selling off of their Instagram page- @rjrdemonshop. When the instagram page is messaged, Wilson and Murphy take requests and figure out a way to get their products to the students. 

Murphy and Wilson have approached into their second year of running the shop.

“Shannon and I like coming up with new designs and products and we try hard to figure out what students will like and want to wear,” Murphy said. We both graduated from Reynolds and this is a fun way to bring support to the school’s athletic programs which both of our daughters participate in. It is a fun way to get involved and show school spirit,” Murphy says.

Proceeds from the Demon Shop go towards the Booster Club which directly supports RJR athletic teams. Anything new from balls and uniforms, to field maintenance.
