Windows down, Frank Ocean blasting, Wendy’s strawberry lemonade in hand. This is a typical afternoon for Jéda Lee.

Not only has she participated in everything from Marching Band to National Honors Society, Lee has held many jobs. Balloon inflator and camp counselor are just some of the jobs Lee has had.

“Party City was a great learning experience,” Lee said. “But being around clowns all the time is exhausting.”

Over her four years at Reynolds, she has met a lot of different people through her clubs and extracurriculars and those people are what have made her time at Reynolds so memorable.

“What I’ve enjoyed most about Reynolds is all the friends I’ve made and the experiences… Reynolds is cool and all but the people really make this place tolerable,” Lee added.

Lee has taken a lot of different classes and had many different teachers at Reynolds but there are always some classes that are more enjoyable than others.

“My favorite class has probably been any English class. I love English and I’m particularly good at it so I enjoyed my English class over the years. Also having fantastic English teachers made it all the better,” Lee said.

While her four years here have been enjoyable, Lee offered advice for future Reynolds students.

“My advice for high school is to know who you are and be true to yourself,” Lee said. “High school is a wild four year experience, don’t let other people determine how you’ll experience these years.” Lee said.

Lee has big plans for her future and wants to pursue a career as a social worker in the education system.

“I’ll be at UNCG to major in social work and minor in psychology and hopefully become a social worker in the education system,” Lee added.
