Once he decided not to play lacrosse after his freshman year at Reynolds, Sully Shore found new passions that carried him through his high school years.

“I decided to join the dive team my junior year,” Shore said. “I had never dove before so I learned a lot and had a really good experience with it.”

While he found comfort in his athletic career, Shore also takes his academic responsibilities very seriously and does not plan to stop any time soon.

“My favorite part about Reynolds is the wide variety of classes they offer, along with the partnership of Career Center,” Shore said. “I also liked going to the sporting events, like basketball and football games.”

After his senior year at Reynolds, Shore wants to set up a successful career after college in the business world.

“I am planning on going to UNC Wilmington next year,” Shore said. “I am going to major in business.”

Shore enjoys fishing, hunting and most of all driving in his new blue Toyota FJ Cruiser. Not to mention his Eagle Scout title, which he earned after years of hard work. He also works teaching swim lessons at Salem Gymnastics.

With several of his friends also joining him at UNCW, Shore is excited to continue his education near the coast where he can pursue his pleasures as well as his academic career.

“I am really excited to go to Wilmington,” Shore said. “I can’t wait to be near the beach.”
