Senior feature: Piper Mueller

Katie Reynolds, A&E Editor

You have most likely seen Piper Muller walking through the halls dressed in her eccentric yet New York City-esque feminine fashion. It is obvious that Muller belongs in a big bustling city, full of creativity and life.

“For college, I’m planning on moving to NYC this fall,” Muller said. “I’m currently deciding between Parsons School of Design and Pratt Institute, both for photography! [Parsons the New School] is my top choice, my dream school.”

Muller’s aspirations and goals for New York City are bold, much like her style and work.

“[One day] I would definitely love to work for a magazine taking pictures, do like editorials and stuff,” Muller said.

Muller’s summer is sure to be full of creativity and fun spending her last few months in Winston Salem.

“Outside of school I like to dress up and do makeup in my room, make collages on my walls and follow my friends around downtown with my camera,” Muller said. “This summer I am planning to spend time with my friends here in Winston before moving to New York around August.”

For Muller, senior year was a time of discovery.

“I would definitely say it’s important your senior year to explore who you are and what you want to do,” Muller said. “I think your senior year is a time where things are different because you are in the ultimate state where no one really cares about anything. I definitely think it’s the time to be creative and do whatever you want to do.”
